Yet another love story without any redeeming values.


Love blossoms between the hero and heroine in a road accident. As ever, the father of the heroine becomes the villain. Getting to know about the affair, the father shifts the family to another town. Then follows the usual search, some love tangle with the rest highly predictable.


The backdrop of the story is the show stealer. The hero is in the business of lorry freight booking business. He learns from a lorry driver friend that his sweetheart is living in Pune. The story rides on the lorry driving community unusual to Tamil cinema.


The accidental love is not believable. When the hero undertakes the search going to Pune, we get a feeling that we should accompany the hero. The scenes are so long and boring.


Heroine Visaka scores one up in acting than the hero Ashok Kumar. In the climax scene the heroine's acting gets our praise.

Ganja Karuppu makes us laugh as he joins the search for the heroine along with the hero. Sometimes it becomes melodramatic too. Director Kanagu would have received our appreciation had he chiseled the screenplay as he had done with characters of the young Kurushi and another young Sikh driver.


Manu Rameshan's music has not lent anything positive to the film, though no negatives too. Cinematography by TV Rameswaran adds life to the film.
